I graduated from Hyde Park College of Beauty Therapy nearly 20 years ago. I enjoyed every minute of it, even when exams were fast approaching.
The support and knowledge from Dianne and her trainers was world class. They instilled in me a wonderful work ethic and an extremely high level of professionalism, preparing me for the workforce. My international qualifications opened doors that I would never have dreamed of. My CIDESCO certification enabled me to work in London for various salons, even having the opportunity to treat some famous faces!! Even now, many years later, I am still doing regular treatments for friends and family members. I would highly recommend Hyde Park College of Beauty Therapy to anyone who is thinking of pursuing a career in Beauty Therapy. Your education at the college will ensure a successful, opportunity filled career.

I attended Hyde Park College in the year 2000, when we had the white dresses with the lovely orange sashes! That year was an amazing year for me, I made so many life long friends whom I see still now, and I sat the CIDESCO exams and achieved highest practical marks, which I was very proud of.
I have had a fantastic career in the beauty industry, learning from some wonderful people. I am now a mother of two and still working in the industry but now part time, it is such a fantastic industry to work in, continually challenging and pleasing to be helping people look and feel better.

The reason I chose Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy for my study is because I'd heard about the extremely high standard of the graduates and also that if my resume had Hyde Park College on it I would be chosen above any other beauty therapists looking for employment. And it turned out to be true because recently I begun looking for employment well before I have completed my Long Distance Learning course and my first choice of workplace offered me a job the day I walked in. I have been working at Isis Day Spa and Salon in Port Lincoln since February and it's nice to be able to start a new job with confidence and plenty of knowledge. I would recommend the college to anyone and everyone who is looking for employment in the Beauty and SPA industry and for me it was worth the long drive!

I graduated from Hyde Park College in 2002. My year of college was an absolutely fantastic year not just because we were studying for our careers but because it was great environment. We had a lot of fun but it was also very challenging and interesting. It has been more than I expected. As a CIDESCO therapist I have been fortunate enough to work on a cruise ship through the Caribbean, live and work in London for two years and travel throughout Europe. Dianne was a great help in securing my position on the cruise ship which although very hard and challenging made me the therapist I am today and opened up so many other doors and opportunities.”

I attended Hyde Park College in 2008. I chose to do the CIDESCO Beauty and SPA Therapy Diploma. I thoroughly enjoyed my year of study. It was hard work but very rewarding. The training and assistance I received throughout the year was exactly what I needed. I received the award of highest mark for college practical at the end of the year, which I was surprised but proud to have received. The staff and especially Dianne were very good to me as I was studying away from home and it was my first year out of home as well. The college has a very good feel to it and a very high reputation because of the exceptional training it provides. The girls I studied with will be lifelong friends and overall it was a great experience. I loved the whole year.

I decided to train at Hyde Park College after looking around at all other options because of its good reputation and the high quality and standard of the graduates. The training was upbeat, thorough and fast paced which helped me to stay enthusiastic about my learning. The constant handy tips and advice given from lecturers was a great way to have an extra edge when I started working in the industry. My current job is working with SPL (laser) hair removal. My employer was looking for someone with good work ethics and competency in all areas of Beauty and SPA Therapy, so she contacted Hyde Park College to look for a new employee. My employer had employed someone who had also studied at Hyde Park College, so she knew of and had experienced high standards from previous Hyde Park graduates.

Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy provided me with extensive theoretical and practical skills and valuable CIDESCO International and British recognised CIBTAC beauty therapy diplomas. This has enabled me to travel and partake in extra training in London at Steiner before embarking onboard several luxury cruise liners working as a beauty therapist cruising the South Pacific Islands and Mediterranean seas.
I have been fortunate enough to gain spa and hydrotherapy experience working in the day spa in the Whitsundays on Daydream Island Resort and Spa.
I would recommend the International qualifications and training at Hyde Park.

I'm thoroughly convinced of the value of my International studies with Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy, with the opportunity to step into the beauty therapy world, and fully understand the science of skin and body health. I know that I now have a far greater knowledge of the implications of genetic and extrinsic factors for the skin, as a direct result of studying the Human Biology unit. It has also given me an advantage over my colleagues and confidence with the delivery of my beauty therapy treatments. The commitment of the teachers to each student is outstanding and full support throughout the course. My employer immediately recognised my qualification to be an advantage to the practice. Consequently, I gained the job I've always dreamed of at Raptchau Beauty in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

I was a student of Hyde Park College in 2001. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the college graduating with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy and CIBTAC Face and Body Diplomas also.
I believe the close learning environment and the delivery of training definitely gave me an advantage, moulding me into a successful beauty and spa therapist. Since graduating at the college I have been lucky enough to extend my career through various roles including spa manager for Jurlique North Adelaide and Holdfast Shores Wellness Sanctuary, eturning to the college to assist in the administration of the college and business studies for the students and eventually branching off and opening my own skin and body therapy clinic which I am the sole proprietor. I do believe that the college gave me a platform for my career and I have never questioned my choice of choosing Hyde Park

I completed my training a while back now in 2000! Starting in hairdressing & make-up first for 2.5 years & then moving into International Beauty Therapy training with Hyde Park College. I enjoyed every moment of training with Dianne Miles & the other staff.
After working in many reputable Adelaide salons & Prestige make-Up counters, I then moved into freelance Make-Up for weddings etc. Now, I currently run my own Beauty Therapy & Make-Up business in a private studio from my own home. I have had this business now since September 2009 & it has been the best move I have ever made!

My time spent at the College, was wonderful, I learned easily in a superb comfortable and highly professional environment. Any issues I had I found were easily resolved, by talking with Dianne, nothing was too hard for her, I always felt so welcome every time I stepped in the door of the College or the staff office.
As I was working at the same time as studying at the College, sometimes things were a little challenging, but any stress was eased by talking with Dianne, she is so lovely and very accommodating. I was there to learn, and as quickly as I could, I was the only part time student, yet I kept up to date very well with the full time students, because always my needs were taken into consideration. I work for Clarins part time and also run my own very successful Mobile Makeup artist business.

I studied at Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy in 2006, it was a very pleasant environment to learn in. The tutors were so very helpful anytime of the day (even through their lunch breaks!) What I really loved was not just performing the treatments but also receiving them, which I believe you can learn a lot from.
The theory aspect was very sound and as I have learnt from the industry working with clients everyday, the more you know the more clients you will have!
The employers I have worked for (Endota, Janesce and Hair free Laser salon) have all mentioned they employed me because I hold a CIDESCO diploma, which makes me now so grateful for choosing Hyde Park College of Skin and Body Therapy.

I visited college the year prior to commencing my training and was immediately impressed with the facilities and the friendly atmosphere I encountered. I was nervous starting my studies as I hadn’t taken on any further education since I was at school, all those years ago!, but was made feel welcome and put at ease from day one.
The training I received was excellent if needed. The support and encouragement around exam times was also invaluable, and I really think that helped me pass all of my International and Hyde Park College examinations.

Before leaving college I was offered a number of positions as the Hyde Park College name precedes itself, and the training they offer. I eventually took at job at Endota Day Spa
