About us
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in a range of areas:
- Nursing, midwifery and paramedic pre-registration education
- Continuing professional education in nursing and midwifery acute and primary care settings, including short courses and study days.

We provide nursing and midwifery education for practitioners at every stage of their professional lives. The school offers a comprehensive range of foundation, honours and masters degrees, PhD (including studentships) and professional doctoral programmes. Our extensive applied research and consultancy activity ensures that these courses are up to date, relevant and serve the needs of both students and employers.
The school is located in several different sites along the Sussex coast in Brighton (Falmer Campus), Eastbourne (Robert Dodd) and NHS settings in Eastbourne, Hastings, Worthing and East Grinstead.
